  1. It is sad and even more sad is the fact that many people do not see themselves in the eyes of the homeless. People act as if they are impervious to this malady when in fact this can happen any one of them in a blink of an eye. Lack of compassion is pervasive these days.

  2. I will never understand how we can see such poverty at a time when every person will have the right to have a minimum of comfort. These are pictures that describe social inequalities. Congratulations for the quality of your pictures.

  4. Jayden, you’ve captured the sadness of homelessness so well! I keep telling our kids to stay here at our place when they go to college or start a job or trade as long as they like. Our North American culture tends to push kids out of the nest before they are firmly established. They need time to save up a down payment for a condo at least… We need more supports in our society for the mentally ill and for those desiring recovery from addictions.

    Blessings ~ Wendy

  5. Love the message and reminder of what is important. We “throw” and waste countless dollars at useless projects when we can’t even feed, shelter and clothe our people. We will not be great as a nation until the attention created with imagery like these, is addressed. Great post.
