Chairs

Chairs. Well, we all need to sit down at some point. There is much history when it comes to what our ancestors liked to sit their butts on. Some people liked hard, wooden chairs. Others enjoyed lounging, like on the French Chaise Longue (spelled correctly – it means long chair).

Whether they liked hard or soft seats, those that came before us were just as diverse in their seating preferences as they were as – people.

I was told by a senior citizen that people with hard heads had soft behinds. Therefore, they liked to sit on hard, wooden surfaces! Go figure!
