I met Mariia at a restaurant I frequented with some friends in Chicago. She was a waitress there and her beauty, poise and grace were startling. I had to photograph her! As I got to know her, I found that she had only been in the United States for a few years, hailing from the Ukraine. For someone that had never modeled, she certainly was a natural! We had a great time during our shoot!
